October 2005 ~ We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beautiful and healthy West Coast litter of 5 sired by AM/CAN CH Playland’s Dallas Cowboy (pictured right)~ 3 boys and 2 girls! Flashy, solid and sable these pretty babies are out of our CH Marpointe’s Cool Hand Luke daughter ~ Miss Charlotte ~ Sunnygate’s Coffee Kisses HIC. Sept 2005 ~ We are pleased to announce that our flashy little bi black Sunnygate’s The Victoria Rose came out at Oceanside K.C. in September to finish her Canadian title with a WB/BOS under judge Morley Thornton. Rose quickly won 9 pts including an exciting Puppy Group as a Senior Puppy in a few shows last Spring but was pulled and put away with a nasty foot wound that kept her on the sidelines all summer. Thanks to our friend and Rosie's Rod Oishi! Rose is sired by our sweet b/f~ w/f CH Marpointe’s Manhattan HIC CGN - and is the 3rd Champion for our Mercy ~ Marpointe’s Mercedes HIC (ptd). The Sunnygate Clan had a great family day at the Collie Club of BC sponsored Herding Clinic weekend in Aldergrove BC under judge Shelley Fritzke ~ despite pouring rain and mud mud mud! 5 of our Clan were awarded their Herding Instincts Certificates (HIC)! June 2005 ~ Our resident Madame and my husband's very spoiled favorite - Marpointe's Mercedes HIC - really prefers her family, her couch and her Tim Horton's coffee. But at Nanaimo K.C. Mercy obliged us by showing herself and moving too! ~ with a nice WB/BOS win under judge Edna St Hilaire for 2 pts. Way to go Madame!
